Fy2022 Special NOFO for Rural and Unsheltered

Writer: Collaborative ApplicantCollaborative Applicant
In August of 2022 HUD announced a second Special NOFO funding cycle to run concurrently with the annual cycle. These two funding resources are specifically to address Rural Homelessness or Unsheltered Homelessness.

Cleveland County is not considered a rural area and does not qualify for that funding.

The Unsheltered funding priority will be given to the areas with the highest populations of unsheltered individuals nationally. The CoC discussed the likelihood of receiving funding based on the demographics of Cleveland County and asked any agencies if they would like to put forward any projects. No agencies have applied, or given notification that they will be putting forth an application, for this funding opportunity.

Project applications for this funding would be due to the Collaborative Applicant by 5pm on 09/20/2022, for rank, review and submission to HUD by 10/20/2022.
