June 12th - Agencies provide e-mail notification to CoC of intent to apply. Not mandatory 

 

June 15th - CoC Zoom for applicants with draft of OK504 application and file scoring rubrics

               

July 2nd - Renewal Applicants send in list of PSH file HMIS #s Jan 2025 to present

July 10th - Renewal applicants given notice of files to be audited

 

July 20th - Agency Applications due to CoC. eSnaps and OK504 application

July 21st to 29th - Rank & Review file review and scoring

July 30th - Rank & Review recommendation to CoC board posted to website

 

Aug 4th - CoC BoD Meeting  Application approval vote (1 week earlier than normal)

Aug 5th - Agency funding notification (per NOFO must be 15 days before submission)

               

Aug 5th - Consolidated applications posted to CoC website

               

Aug 21st - OK504 Application submitted to HUD

               

Aug 26th - FY2026 NOFO submissions due by 8pm

HUD dropped the FY2026 NOFO Yesterday (attached).  Application deadline is August 26, 2026

HUD will host an informational webinar at 3pm (ET), Thursday, June 4th. All potential applicants are encouraged to attend. The webinar will be recorded.

 Organizations must be notified of funding decisions at least 15 days before the application deadline.  To give time for scoring and evaluation anticipate agency applications will be due in the last 2 weeks of July.

CoC Funding Cycle 2024 Competition Funding Notification

The CoC Review/Rank Committee met on October 4, 2024 and reviewed the five project renewal applications that were submitted by September 16, 2024.  The committee recommended the following application rankings which were considered at the CoC monthly meeting on 10/08/24 and approved via regular vote:

Requirements for all recipients:

1. Recipients must draw down from eLoccs on a monthly basis (the 20th day of the following month).

2. Required documentation: Submitted by the 20th of the following month

   a) eLoccs documentation showing proof of draw and the amount remaining in the grant

   b) Document printed from in-house accounting software that ties to the draw (when requested).

   c) List of those on PSH by funding source.

   d) List of those housed during the month

   e) Performance Measures tracking

                1. Total # of people served

                2. Total # who maintained or increased income

                3. Total # homeless for the first time

                4. # placed / maintained in permanent housing

3. In line with HUD priorities, agencies will work with all recipients to increase income.

                5. Thunderbird Clubhouse – $45,958 Tier 1

                Total funding - $439,112

COC PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING GRANT 2023

HUD has released the 2023 NOFO information.

 

HUD will pursue two overarching priorities focused on increasing equity and improving customer experience across all HUD programs. Five strategic goals and several objectives undergird the Plan; however, the follow goals are applicable to this NOFO:

  1. Strategic Goal 1: Support Underserved Communities Fortify support for underserved communities and support equitable community development for all people.

  2. Strategic Goal 2: Ensure Access to and Increase the Production of Affordable Housing Ensure housing demand is matched by adequate production of new homes and equitable access to housing opportunities for all people.

  3. Strategic Goal 3: Promote Homeownership Promote homeownership opportunities, equitable access to credit for purchase and improvements, and wealth-building in underserved communities.

  4. Strategic Goal 4: Advance Sustainable Communities Advance sustainable communities by strengthening climate resilience and energy efficiency, promoting environmental justice, and recognizing housing's role as essential to health.
